Curriculum development
Quality Christian education is what we stand for. To achieve this, it is essential to develop a high-quality curriculum and equip schools, teachers, children and parents.
The curriculum should integrate biblical values while satisfying the national requirements. It should be adapted to the local context of Haiti and to the level of the pupils. Each of our children should be able to apply the lessons learned in his or her daily life, becoming valuable and respectful citizens.
The purpose of this department is to develop manuals for children, teachers and parents. We offer different subjects, such as geography, history, Christian education and more - from grade one up to grade nine.
Our small, strong team of experts works intensively with the training department to set out a strategy and concept. External competent writers and illustrators are often contracted to develop the manual. It usually takes one year from concept to the printed book.
“Curriculum development is the core of CRECH, its raison d'être. It is the kitchen.” - Esther Sidor, assistant.

What others said
“My school started using the CRECH curriculum in 2012. We have since been highly satisfied. The curriculum is of great quality and well elaborated. Step by step, we are looking to expand with new materials and subjects.” – Jean G. Bertrand (headmaster, École mixte Baptio de Jacmel)
“The CRECH books are full of drawings and pictures. The kids love them. They learn better. For me as a teacher, this means that it doesn’t require much effort to impart knowledge.” - Rincher Virginie (teacher, Institut Joseph Casseus)
